The differences between an ANIMAL CELL and a PLANT CELL are:
- A plant cell has a wall so it is cube-shaped.
- It has chloroplasts with chlorophyll.
Answers to the parts of the plant activity:
a) It enables water and minerals to pass up from the
root to the leaves and flowers. TRUNK / STEM
b) Given them the appropriate
growth conditions, they will become the new plant. SEEDS
c) They absorb the water and minerals
from the soil and sometimes stores food.
d) They contain the reproductive
organs of the plant. FLOWERS
e) Their main job is to make food for the plant
by the process known as photosynthesis. LEAVES
f) They are the ripened ovary of the
flower. They usually enclose the seeds and protects them while they are
developing. FRUITS
