THE PARTS OF A PLANT

Let´s review:

1. Label the picture with these words: TRUNK - ROOTS - BRANCHES - LEAVES

2. Draw: FRUITS - FLOWERS - SEEDS, and colour the picture.

3. Write what part of the plant, these definitions relate to:

 (Escribe a qué parte de la planta se refieren estas definiciones)

a) It enables water and minerals to pass up from the root to the leaves and flowers.

b) Given them the appropriate growth conditions, they will become the new plant.

c) They absorb the water and minerals from the soil and sometimes stores food.

d) They contain the reproductive organs of the plant.

e) Their main job is to make food for the plant by the process known as photosynthesis.

f) They are the ripened ovary of the flower. They usually enclose the seeds and protects them while they are developing.
